Glen McGowan

Glen McGowan, BA(Hons), DipArch(UEL), RIBA, began his career as a carpenter, before commencing his architectural education at Westminster University.

Prior to founding mass architecture, Glen worked for MacCormac Jamieson Prichard Architects on a number of prestigious projects including Southwark Tube Station and Cambridge University student accommodation. Other experience includes multi-media production work for Virgin and the London Underground.

Glen has been a design tutor and lecturer in Construction Technology at Universities in London, Leeds and Sheffield. He currently sits on the York Historic and Built Environment Forum and the Open Planning Forum, as well as being an RIBA Conservation Register Architect.

Glen has won an international award for his work on the Le Paz Competition.
