Sutton Scarsdale Hall

A series of pavilions have been created by taking casts of the ruins. These ‘casts’ are arranged as free objects, connected by glazed breakout spaces and circulation cores.

This counterpoint to the ruin offers scope for a critical dialogue between past and present ideas, and what constitutes cultural currency.

The loose ‘cluster’ of pavillions has the capacity to expand and contract into the landscape as the facility grows or shrinks.
