Low Green, Copmanthorpe

The client wanted a contemporary design as well as a low energy house, which would be compatible with the adjacent 1960's Architect designed house.

Our approach was to allude to a series of stepped 'boxes', which is the dominant form of the existing house.

The palette comprises of brown brick, white render and darkened copper for the roof. The windows and doors are minimal in their appearance but could be an opportunity for added moments of colour.

The scheme is currently at planning stage.
